Dream #16 - Remote control of the future

This dream took place in the future. Although there weren't any dates posted anywhere to give this away, it became rather obvious as events unfolded.

There was an old man sitting in an easy-chair. Before him was a stack of television sets, forming a grid of horrible daytime TV. Each television had (I'm guessing here) a 15-inch screen, and the TVs themselves were stacked about four across and five down.

There were a lot of TVs.

The man was wearing a strange pair of somethings on his face.

I'm sorry - That was an awful description.

The somethings were like glasses, only the lenses were not at all like the normal lenses one would expect to find in normal glasses. They were these strange telescoping protrusions. Think about it like this: If, instead of having regular lenses the guy had miniature telescopes, you'd get a pretty good idea of what he was wearing.

He looked at one of the TVs, squinted a little, and two blue lasers shot out of the weird glasses. The lasers hit the TV screen, and the TV changed channels.

He looked at another TV, and did the same thing.

And again.

He started doing it more quickly. His head movements began to blur as he changed the channels faster.

Finally, his head just a fuzzy bit of motion, like humming bird wings, lasers constantly shooting out of his glasses at the televisions, his old, bony hands gripping the recliner armrests, he screamed "I LOVE THE FUUUUUUTUUUUUURRRRRRRRE!"

And that, as they say, was that.
