Looks like my .NET Rocks show is up.
I'm about 12 minutes and 45 seconds (approximately) into it, and not nearly as horrified as I expected to be.
I was terribly nervous that night (a little nervous now, too (OK - I'm shaking :)), but I think I did better than I thought I did that night. I wasn't at my best, or even my OKest, but I did all right (if I do say so for myself).
The main issues:
- I did the interview from my cell phone, and the quality isn't so hot. I would have used a landline, but... I don't have one.
- I said "like" way too many times. I didn't realize I said that word so often. I'm enrolling in a 12-step program to cut down as soon as possible.
- I talked too fast. If I talked slower, and said "like" a few thousand less times, I'd have been more comprehensible.
- I was nervous. I'm surprised I didn't wet my pants.
Aside from that, I'm pretty happy. I really thought that I had "blown it," but I'm feeling much better now, and I feel like I learned quite a bit.
So don't just sit there with your tongue lying slack out of your mouth like that - go listen to the show, damn it!
And, I'd like to thank Carl and Mark (Mark - where's your web home nowadays?) for having me on the show. It was a cool, cool experience that I didn't think I would ever get to have. I'm still reeling and wondering how in the hell I ever got on...
