As some of you may or may not know (I'm leaning toward the not option on this
one), today is my sister's birthday. It's actually a little hard to believe that there's
anyone left on the planet who doesn't know about her birthday considering what
a spectacle it was when we were children (to be honest, it's still a bit of
a spectacle). She had all sorts of rules set up that everyone had to follow on her
birthday. I wasn't allowed to sit in the front seat of the car, I wasn't allowed to
eat any food, and I had to spend all of my allowance on some stupid present for her,
or simply hand over the cash equivalent.
Anyway, it's tough. And her birthday has a way of stretching out into what she calls
her "birth weekend." That typically elongates into the "birth week," the "birth month,"
and finally the "birth year." When she tries to jump us with the "birth year" business,
we kind of have to draw the line. We'd accept something like a "birth quarter," but
not the entire year. That's just silly.
So, I thought it'd be nice to get serious for a day and write a little something about
how great my sister is. To this end, I went on ahead and put together a nice art project
which reminded me of the great times we had together as kids.
Thanks, sis! You're the greatest!
Yup! Thanks for all the beatings bruises scars memories!
