Dreamt that I was looking at a Thai fashion calendar with my family. I don't
know why we were all looking at it. We aren't really given to such familial events.
Anyway, the calendar was web-based. While we were looking at it, I was suddenly, but
slowly and peacefully, sucked inside.
Once in there, I found myself in Thailand.
But, Thailand wasn't really Thailand. I think my brain had it confused with a combination
of Alaska and Tibet. Tibet for the landscape, Alaska for the Eskimos (there are
Eskimos in Alaska, aren't there?). I'll explain the Eskimos in a second.
I was in the middle of a very cold lake that was surrounded by snowy hills and rocky
buttes.
I was sitting on top of my couch, which was floating in the center of the lake.
Out of nowhere, three kayakers popped out of the water. They were doing the "I'm capsized
in a kayak" thing. I saw it on a PBS show once: When someone is capsized in
a kayak, they do this funny thing that involves rolling around and righting themselves.
So, that's what these three Eskimos did.
Then, they rowed away.
I wanted to get to shore, so I wished myself into a seal-skin suit that would keep
me warm for the swim.
Once it was on, I hopped into the freezing lake and swam to shore. Don't really know
what it means.
The seal-skin suit was pretty neat, though.
