Don XML did a presentation on SVG, which was pretty cool. He demonstrated putting together GUIs using the markup language.

The stuff came out looking very clean, and the ability to zoom clearly (since it's all vector based) makes the UIs pretty neat. There are probably some good applications here for users with disabilites.

Strange as it might sound, I'd like to see an entire OS desktop created with this stuff - Kind of like Aqua, but on the "other" leading OS...
