On account of Sam Ruby not having been able to make it, Jeff Barr's presentation has
continued with an extensive Q&A.
It's been very interesting. Whereas most of the presentations so far have been along
the lines of "XML is cool, and here's why," this one is the first I've seen where
I've realized that I could go home and start making money immediately.
It might sound weird, but I didn't come here to learn how to make money. Unfortunately,
Amazon makes it so bloody-stinking easy that I might just have to do it anyway. There
are so many possibilities, and so much room for innovation here, that you could basically
trip and fall on these web services to start generating an income. Check them out: www.amazon.com/webservices.
Considering the fact that I'm still about $37,517.76 in debt for college (seriously),
this is pretty appealing.
