I didn't want to say anything bad about any of the presentations, but I just got lost by the current presenter.

There are two people who have the floor - One who's doing all the talking, and his monkey (in his words) who's doing all the coding/pointing.

I think the idea was to make it so that the talking presenter wouldn't have to fiddle with the laptop for slides/code. It was a good idea, but the unfortunate result is that, rather than simply typing in code, he's having to occasionally call out commands to the monkey.

It's rather distracting, and they lost me when there was a mistake made in the coding that had to be resolved between the two.

The information looks good, but my stamina is a little too worn down to follow at the moment given the circumstances.

Plus, my girlfriend and I are making up over IM right now. We got into a fight earlier this week, and she's begging to come over and watch some episodes of Secret Agent with me tonight.

I guess having a hot girl propositioning me over IM hasn't really helped me to concentrate. I should really put my laptop down.
