XML Conference P2 #11 - Rich Salz

We just saw a very different presentation from the rest.

It was Rich Salz's "Determining what security your Web Services need."

Rich clearly knew his audience (developers), and took us through a very basic overview of various aspects of online security - The ones of which we are notoriously ignorant.

I'm glad that there are people like Rich out there. The more secure online transactions are, the better.

I didn't see it as a big deal until some dirty bastard managed to get his filthy pickers and stealers on my credit card number. He then used it to do the most embarrassing thing that one could possibly do to a geek: He signed me up for four AOL accounts.

I was so mortified when my bank statements came in. What if my geek friends found out and assumed that I was binging on bubble-gum web access?

Michael Johnson (if that is your real name (of course it isn't)) - I've still got a can of whoop ass with your name on it.
