The book he's talking about is awesome. If you want a clear and concise intro to Longhorn from the developer point of view, I think you'd be hard pressed to beat Brent Rector's treatment of the subject. I'd even go so far as to say that you don't need Longhorn in front of you in order to learn from this book - You'll want it in front of you, but that's another matter altogether.

I give this book a “thumbs-up” with every single thumb I have on my body.
