Dream #41 - Some intimate cherubs

It has been a very long time since I last posted a dream.

Way too long.

[Warning: This post includes references to the female reproductive organs. Although the dream was largely devoid of sexual content, it does involve some elements of the reproductive cycle, albeit in a manner that you'd probably find in a film in the "art" section rather than a film you'd find in the "adult" section (not that I'd know anything about the sorts of films that show up in the adult section).

You've been warned. All complaints will be read, laughed at, and forwarded to my friends.]

When this dream began, all I could see was a female of our species (human). She was in a "room" that was quite dark - if there were walls, doors, or a ceiling, I couldn't see them.

There were only two (2) sources of light in the "room": One coming from behind her, framing her in a body-wide halo. I couldn't see the other source of light, but it was casting a diffuse glow on her body in such a way that I was able to see her features quite clearly.

The first thing I noticed about her was that she was wearing a scarf. Aside from that, and aside from the strange room, nothing seemed too out of the ordinary.

This "ordinary" quality was, of course, only present because the dream had yet to advance. It got a little weird, if you know what I'm saying.

From out of nowhere came another female of our species (human - that's what we are (right?)). She approached the first girl, undid the scarf, and walked away.

I immediately understood what the scarf was for.

In the middle of this girl's neck, just where the Adam's apple would be, was a vagina. You might think that's a little odd, but I personally think that the stream of brilliant light pouring out of it was even stranger still.

If you've ever used a flashlight in a smoky/steamy/dusty room, then you're probably familiar with the cool looking beam of light that's created in such a situation - it almost looks solid.

Well, imagine that beam, but much brighter, much more coherent, and much longer. Imagine it, if you will, because that's what was coming out of the vagina in this girl's neck.

So, that's already a little weird, but it gets better.

A few moments later, I saw spiders crawling in and out of the hole - tons of 'em. They were all over the place, coming and going as they pleased.

They eventually disappeared and were replaced by something which was, yes, somehow even more bizarre.

Pairs of three-inch high cherubs began to float out of the vagina, and down the beam of light. There was one white cherub and one black cherub in each pair, and they were having sex. It wasn't wild, sloppy sex or anything - just slow, graceful whoopee.

A pair of cherubs floated out of the vagina at a rate of about one pair every five seconds. Each pair floated down the beam of light as though physically attached to it.

The dream went on like that for a little while, and then I woke up. It was really quite pretty.

That's funny, I had a dream just like that last night! Except in mine, there were two co-workers (female humans) engaging in sexual activities at a company party. They invited me to join them. I reluctantly showed them my wedding ring and declined.
Oh, never mind, I guess it was nothing like yours. Does sharing dream details ever lead to anything productive?

I've never thought about why I share them :)

I don't know why I blog, either, if that helps.

And, no, it's never lead to anything productive, except that it's fun for me.

I think your dream has an interpretation. The girl with the oddly placed part was Kori. The spiders were all the thoughts she's having to hold in because her blogging stuff doesn't currently work. The little cherubs represent the happiness she's going to feel when you finally fix her stuff. They are different colors to represent your mixed feelings of wanting to fix her stuff, opposed to your feeling of having to dig through all those containers looking for an XP cd. But in the end the two feelings reconcile themselves and you fix it. Happiness in the form of f#cking cherubs poures out of Kori.

It could also be that I'm full of sh!t and my wife is bugging me to know when Kori's next funny fashion insight will be up on her blog.

You’re only assuming they were human, this could very well have been an alien encounter. You have been blogging long enough to know the internet is everywhere, what goes around comes around.

Rory - it was kind of a rhetorical question. Whenever I find myself telling a dream story, I start to realize how useless it is, but I keep going anyway. Funny thing, that.

I think it's because dreams often seem very profound to the person having them. Dreams are really good at duping you into thinking they're interesting, and it makes you want to tell other people...

Did you smoke, inject or take anything before going bed?
