Technorati BookTalk

One of the coolest new features of the revamped Technorati has to be the BookTalk section.

It profiles "[t]he books people are talking about now," and it kicks some serious butt. Being able to see which books are popular at the moment (literally), and being able to find the blogs where the books are being talked about is pretty valuable, and that's especially true if, like me, you don't trust critics.

It's nice to be able to read the opinions of real people rather than those who are getting kickbacks (OK, yeah, I'm paranoid).

I especially like the Zombie Survival Guide. You never know when you might need something like that. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who's paranoid enough to worry about things like that...

Have you seen the .NET Book Club I started (http://www.dotnetbookclub.org). It was orignally Kent Tegal's idea, but I took it to the next level. You should join and help us get it started.

Jeff -

I followed the book club thread a little, but thought I'd wait for the dust to settle.

Looks like it did :)

I'll check it out...

Paranoid, but probably very realistic.
