This is *really* the last of it

I know I said you'd hear nothing more from me on the subject that Ted has since called “RoryGate,” but I wanted to say one last thing:

To all the people (MVPs and non) who wrote to send a little bit of happy to my inbox that day: Thank you. There were too many of you to address one-by-one, but I wanted to get some kind of a message out.

So, yeah. Thanks. I was, I'll admit, a bit upset that day. The letters helped out big time.

Hey Rory,

What matters is that what you do seems to make a real difference. And that is just as valid to the technical community weather, you have an MVP tag or not.

I would say that you are as good as many MVPs I know. Of course the language could use some polish in places, but at times its best to call a spade a spade the way you do.

Have you been here ?

There are 2 kind of people in the world:
- people who have a tag
- people who just plain rule

Rory, you rule. :)

Wow, miss reading Rory for a week, and all hell breaks loose!

Rory, hope you are not feeling bad about this any longer - seems like petty crap to me. As has been said a million times: you were invited, you went. What more is there to it than that?

Perhaps we can go the NCAA route an just start calling Rory our Most Outstanding Professional. This, of course, would make Rory a Microsoft MOP.

You sound a bit mentally unstable to me. Very feminine and emotional.
Let the flames begin, I can take it. I am a man.
