Bob Reselman, author of Coding Slave, gets a blog

Bob Reselman, who many of you know as the author of Coding Slave, has started a blog.

Bob thinks I don’t respond to his emails often enough, but hopefully this will be some sort of compensation. I fully admit to being a bad emailer, but it has nothing to do with who emails me – I’m just swamped with the stuff, and tend to put it off and put it off and put it off and put it off and…

Seriously. If the Pope emailed me right now, he wouldn’t hear back for at least a couple weeks.

But the Pope doesn’t email me.

He also doesn’t return my phone calls (1–800–THE-POPE).

I guess that what goes around comes around.

Sigh.

I thought this post looked a little lonely with not a single comment so I felt like giving it a little attention to make it feel better.

ummm....don't know what to say. let me re-read the post and see if I can comment on anything....

"Bob thinks I don't respond to his emails often enough"

Don't we all Bob. Although, just between me and everyone else who might read this single comment made to an older post, lately Rory has been in some kind of e-mailing frenzy and if he e-mailed anymore my little heart might burst in it's chest. I didn't want to scare him away though or overtax his tired little eyes so I chilled a little on the e-mail barrage.

It's important for everyone to remember that Rory is famous and just getting one personal communicae (that includes e-mail, a nod at an MSDN event, a reply to one of your comments, a hand-written note, spit on from his window, or walking through his poop on the sidewalk) from him in a single month (at his current level of fame, with his recent television work that period of time might increase) is a high honor.

So relax, he'll get back to you. He's a good guy. Just a popular and busy one.

Feeling better little lonely, uncommented post? See, you ARE important!

I thought you just filtered me out into your spam folder ;) Maybe Bob's also in that folder. Actually, I think some people at work have set the same rule for my e-mail in Outlook, come to think of it...

Rory, did you have Microsoft add me to the global blacklist for Outlook 2003?

Can someone please explain, for the benefit of those os us not from the US (UK in my case), what the fascination is with US phone numbers having letter in them? I don't get the point, what is (1–800–THE-POPE)?
