I ran out of time to say anything before leaving, believing I'd have a chance to write from LAX, but a suicidal bird that dove into the radar dome of the MD-80 Aydika and I were on kind of screwed up our travel schedule. The bird died on contact, and no groups have claimed responsibility for the attack, but rest assured that the “Right People“ are looking into this.

Anyway, I'm in Fiji, and I'm going to be here through Sunday, so there won't be any updates.
