A quick question

Hi, everybody.

I know. It’s been a while. I just got through with the worst week of my life, and I don’t particularly want to talk about it. I can also guarantee that you don’t want to hear about it, so there’s not much for me to write about at the moment.

However, I still have a job to do, and I need your help with something, so…

Does anybody know how I can get in touch with Mr. T’s agent?

I’m serious.

From what I can gather his agent - either now or in the past is Don Buchwald &
Associates - http://www.buchwald.com/v2/home.asp

I didn't see him on the talent page however - perhaps this site may provide an answer...

Hmm wow... Sorry to hear bout your bad week... But, Mr. T? That's like ending a Star Wars movie with Darth Vador telling Luke he's his father... On the other hand, good hook...

Mr. T has turned up in a couple of local ads here in the last couple of years. You could start by contacting some of the Audio Post house in town (Digital One and White Horse if they are still around)or Ad agencies and see if the they would do a favor. Otherwise I would contact a local talent agaent to see if they can contact his Hollywood agent and book him that way. Either way, you are better off contacting someone who is an AFTRA/SAG associate. Hollywood agents are all about money and don't take independant inquires very serious. If you are not AFTRA/SAG than you have a hard time being taken seriously. Especially when they find out that you are from Portland...

Yes, this use to be my job.

Worked with them both and they were always helpful..

They would be your best bet if you want to hire Mr. T..

It might be costly though..

I hate to keep hearing about all of these bad weeks! I wish you the best and as usual, I miss your blog entries. Rest assured, though, I will not be choosing anyone else as my hero. It's still you, Rory. Take care and keep us posted.

Also of note, you can sign up for the free trial of IMDBPro and probably get the details if you need them...

I don't know how Rory feels, but I think it had a suitable combination of one part hilarious to one part sympathy.

I can think of a lot of ways to phrase that that would retain the hilarious component but we would all agree have much higher asshole content.

Has rich or jeff read this blog at all? Sure, if that comment was directed at someone else it would be very insensitive. But it wasn't. It was directed at Rory, and if I've learned anything from his posts in the past year, rory dishes out pointed humor and accepts it gladly. That's his personality. 1part sympathy, 1part halarity is a very "roryish" type of comment.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not. The only one who can tell us is the great Rory himself...

hope ur doing ok man.

Hey Rory, when you feel up to it, please let us know how you are doing? Each day I go to the aggregator and see that there are no new posts.. the worry level rises... Always remember that there are a heap of people who are on your side.
Cheers.
