Guess what...

Yup. More PandaControl.

In case you haven’t, like, TOTALLY FIGURED IT OUT YET, PC is where I’m going to be spending most of my week.

In the most recent video, there’s even a SPECIAL EFFECT. It’s FREAKING AMAZING.

And we’re going to start adding more features to the site soon.

I also started vacation today, so I’m going to go get drunk now (actually, it’s only 10:53 AM – I might wait until 11:00). Then I’m going to migrate Neopoleon.com to Community Server.

That ought to be an interesting exercise.

Definately start drinking prior to migrating to the other server. It won't help but you'll never notice and you'll have more fun doing it (not to mention taking twice as long to do it)

That's just great....
Why is it that as soon as I really get into a blog, a podcast or whatever, it slows down or pauses. Do I have a 'it's him again, let's go home' tag on me?
Just 15 minutes ago a podcast I stumbled upon (pokerdiagram) a month ago is of for a while. Another (Lord Admiral Card Club) that was a regular weekly show is skipping it more often than not since I started listening to it. And there is Mondays that was pretty regular until I discovered it nearly a year ago, and see where they are now......
Wil Wheathon's site crashed into digital coma right before I found it.
Every time I think, yeah, this is fun, 9 out of 10 my DMoD (Digital Mark of Doom) brings it back to a trickle (so not even annihilation, no, that would be cool, the Digital Fifth Horseman of the Cyber Apocalypse - just getting it on binairy life support).

That's a totally cool plan. Get shit faced until your PC starts looking like a Mac, install software, and hope to hell it works.

Here's to a successful upgrade (if not a drunken debauchery of software installations).

Remember, backups are your friend and data is the center of the universe (or so the data people tell me).

Because I started another blog (and podcast, actually - but that's still being edited).

So, it's not like *I've* slowed down. If anything, I'm producing more than ever. It's just being spread out over a wider area.

So check out PandaControl - follow it for a while. It's effing awesome, and it's only going to get effinger awesomer.

Much of the content is already written/done - the main reaosn it's taking time away from Neopoleon is that there are some technical/infrastructure things I'm having to do. I'm also going to be activating more features of the software over the next few days, and that's required all that testing/planning crap nobody wants to do, but has to.

Neopoleon is still alive and well.

I actually have a post that I'm going to be putting up before long.

I'm also exhausted, though. Last week it was Connecticut - this week it's a site launch.

Harder than it sounds :)

Now I can go to sleep peacefully (it's 1:40am here, alarm goes off 5:45am, so sleep is a good idea but it's so freaking hot* here I can't sleep).
Neopoleon and PC are in my RSS feeds, I'm still with you :) I have a sort of a blog and I know how bloody time consuming it is.

And I saw PC 2, first time I saw you in motion. And to proof my point: you get shot. Bad news is my middle name (Erwin "bad news" Blonk, hmm, how about dangerous?)

*freaking hot is like 97F here and my brain starts to shut off at 80F - does Microsoft need Regional Director, Artic region?

Are you still living in the Netherlands?

I don't blame you.

I blame myself.

I mean... I kind of wrote the thing, so... you know... that really *does* make it my fault :)

"does Microsoft need Regional Director, Artic region"

For the three Russians who are stationed there?

Hang on. Let me check.

No.

I actually have the migration code written. There *are* a couple bugs, but they're small, and I'll have 'em worked out in no time. Sober or not, I'm still a coder (even though my position has been more like marketing for the past couple years) :)

I also need to put together a permalink mapping bit, but that should be much easier than it sounds.

Those, by the way, are what we refer to as "famous last words."

It's gonna happen, though. And I'm pumped.

'Cause I've got plans for this stuff.

I enjoy clicking on the ad links at PandaControl.com, 'cause I feel like I'm helping Dave eat. I don't know Dave. I know Rory. But we all know Rory's a filthy rich Microsoft lackey who sits regularly in a hot tub filled with stock certificates using $100 bills to light his Cuban cigars. So I don't care what he eats. When I'm at PandaControl.com I like to imagine the food I'm enabling Dave to buy with the massive amounts of ad revenue I must be generating:

[click] Here's a cheeseburger, Dave.
[click] Have some fries with that.
[click] Like a drink? What's that...Super-Sized?
[click]
[click]

Damn, charity feels good.

It's actually a swimming pool, but go on. No, really - go on. Don't let a small thing like the FACTS get in the way of your little rant.

"using $100 bills to light his Cuban cigars"

They're from the Dominican Republic. I *light* them with Cubans (that is: real, living Cubans).
